The School of Vocational Studies at OSGU focuses on providing education and training for skill development to meet the vocational and technical requirements for the country's economic development. The School of Vocational Studies offers demand-driven, value-added Undergraduate and Postgraduate vocational courses targeting both formal and informal sectors. The B.Voc. program, a three-year degree course with multiple entry and exit points, emphasizes practical training, with 40% dedicated to general education (theory) and 60% to vocational training (practical). The B.Voc program is designed to comply with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), Distance Education Board (DEB), and University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.

OSGU offers a two-year Masters of Vocation (M.Voc.) degree with multiple exit options at the diploma/advanced diploma levels under the NSQF.
